Artichoke

personal project
watch photography

This personal project explores the idea of using unconventional props to showcase luxury watches. I enjoy using items from my surroundings, whether from my garden, home, or nearby nature. In this case, I used an artichoke I grew in my garden as a watch holder. The artichoke is not something commonly seen in local gardens, making it a great conversation starter, and I wanted to replicate that effect by using it as a prop in this shoot. By keeping the artichoke dark and understated, the focus remains on the elegance of the watch, while the artichoke simply adds an intriguing, unexpected element to the composition—much like it does in conversations with passersby when I'm in my garden.
