In this project, I explored the concept of a person’s aura and true nature, using gelled lighting to create a vibrant glow around the model that symbolizes their true essence. The makeup plays an integral role, representing the masks people often wear to hide their authentic selves. Through this interplay of light and shadow, I aimed to reveal the truth that lies behind these masks, highlighting the contrast between external appearances and internal identity.

The styling further complements this narrative, using a single coat throughout the series. The model’s varying poses—sometimes with the coat open to reveal more and other times closed to conceal—reflect the process of hiding or revealing one’s true self.

Through this series, I sought to create visually compelling images that evoke introspection about identity, authenticity, and the stories we tell through what we reveal or conceal.
