commissioned project beauty photography This series was brought to life in collaboration with the talented makeup artist Lan Nguyen-Grealis, who created a look inspired by a commedia dell&#39;arte persona. Her bold and theatrical approach to makeup set the tone for the entire project.Drawing from the world of theater, I used hard, contrasty lighting to emulate the dramatic effects of stage spotlights. This lighting style enhanced the intricate details of Lan&#39;s work, creating an interplay of light and shadow that mirrors the expressive and captivating nature of commedia dell&#39;arte characters.
